RDS Residential Camps

RDS Residential (or sleep-away) camps are staffed by the recognized RDS coaches, and offer a unique opportunity for players to immerse themselves in the RDS soccer experience both night and day.

These advanced soccer camps feature highly demanding off field experience, where young campers are held accountable to the standards of personal behavior that help to mold a successful soccer player, and a potential academy candidate.

The huge demand for these camps means many options are fully booked as early as mid March. New applications must attend a try-out to earn their space on camp, whereas existing and returning RDS participants are pre-approved for their camp of choice.

The schedule and application process is outlined in detail below. Please review this information first to ensure a smooth and efficient registration experience.

Registration process for pre-qualified players:

Existing RDS participants are pre-approved for all RDS residential camps, and are waived the try-out process. Any player who has participated in a try-out based RDS at any point over the past 18 months may register for their chosen RDS residential camp immediately, without the need for additional assessment.

Qualifying programs include the try-out based spring, fall, and winter RDS, and try-out based RDS Residential Summer Camps. Participation in an open registration RDS summer day camp does not pre-qualify a player for these camps.

Existing RDS participants can get access to a private hidden link, by-passing tryouts, and providing immediate acceptance to camp, by emailing rds@newyorkredbulls.com.

Registration process for new applicants:

All opportunities for new applicants to try-out for camp have now passed. However, a small number of spaces on some camps still remain. Interested parties should provisionally register for their chosen camp by clicking here.

After registration, you will be sent an email within 48 hours, prompting you to provide basic information in support of your child's application. Subject to meeting necessary criteria, the application will be accepted, and your space on camp will be secure.

If your child's playing history does not seem to meet the requirements for an RDS Residential Camp, we may suggest an alternate camp.
