Red Bulls U19’s ended the day’s trio of games with a 3-0 win over previously unbeaten Baltimore Armour.
Skylar Conway got the Red Bulls off to an early start with a great individual effort in the box to score in the 8th minute, Jordan Bailon with the assist.
Though they created plenty of chances, New York could not add another tally to the scoresheet in the first half. Headed into halftime up 1-0, no changes were made to coach Jeff Zaun’s side.
Continuing to create chances early in the second half, New York found a second breakthrough via the foot of John Murphy in the 63rd minute, assisted by Skylar Conway.
As the pressure mounted, the Red Bulls were able to strike once more, this time John Murphy getting in on the assisting end, and Habtamu Darling with the finish in the 80th minute.
The game would end 3-0, continuing Red Bulls U19’s run of form early in the season.
