The New York Red Bulls Training Programs and Regional Development School are looking to add qualified and experienced soccer coaches to our player development staff. Coaches will be required to work with both teams and individual players of all ages and abilities.
 
The positions available are availability within our community based training programs, travel programs or opportunities also exist for exceptional coaches to progress and work within our Regional Development School programs which cater for advanced level players.
 
The majority of the contracts we have available are from March to November, RDS positions are year-round but some opportunities also exist for partial availability weekend and weeknight work.
 
The Full availability soccer coaching role provides a full schedule of coaching from March through November. Candidates should possess an advanced level coaching qualification, be over the age of 21 and have at least two years of coaching experience within soccer. Candidates must also hold valid driving licenses, have transportation, and have a clean criminal record. The role not only includes coaching but administration tasks, weekly meetings, clinics, and game day volunteer work. Positions are available in our grassroots community based programs, travel programs or our Regional Development School (RDS). Positions would be assigned based on the interview process.
 
The  partial availability is an ideal position for those who can only commit to coaching a few nights a week and weekends.  Like the full availability coach position, candidates should possess an advanced level coaching qualification, be over the age of 21 and have at least two years of coaching experience within soccer. Candidates must also hold valid driving licenses, have transportation, and have a clean criminal record. Positions are available in our grassroots community based programs.
 
A junior coach mentoring program is also available for aspiring coaches between the ages of 18-23.
The New York Red Bulls mentor program provides an opportunity for aspiring young coaches to join the organization as a part-time junior coach. This program is designed to integrate enthusiastic beginner coaches into the Red Bulls grassroots coaching ranks. Candidates should be under the age of 23, locally based and hold a basic coaching qualification. Junior coaches will have the opportunity to learn from experienced coaches, attend professional development meetings, and obtain additional coaching qualifications. Interview Procedure
Successful candidates will be required to go through four interview phases:
1. Phone Interview
2. Practical on field coaching assessment and in-person interview
3. Conditional employment offer, background check and attend mandatory orientation
4. Final hire
