The goal of the event was to identify one player from each age group to invite to the ODP versus Red Bulls RDS match on June 3, and took place on the pitch and in the classroom.
Rider University’s facilities provided players the experience of professional environment, with pristine grass fields, classrooms for teaching attacking and defending principles, and dining halls for meals.

NJ Youth Soccer’s support staff helped check in and procession of shuffling players from the field to the dining hall and classrooms.
Lessons in the classroom allowed players to be involved in the discussion of new techniques and tactics, and provided for a very engaging environment. This allowed for players use newfound methods in games on the final day of the camp.
Players also engaged in private team discussions during tournament play about how to adjust tactically during the break between games.
