HARRISON, N.J. (December 2, 2015) – New York Red Bulls Academy product Brandon Allen was named a semifinalist for the 2015 Missouri Athletic Club’s (MAC) Hermann Trophy. Allen, a senior at Georgetown University, is among 15 semifinalists from NCAA Division I schools around the country that have been marked as a contender for the 2015 MAC Hermann Trophy, the most prestigious individual award in college soccer.

He completed his final college season with a team-high 12 goals, and provided seven assists. Two of the forward’s goals came in the BIG EAST Tournament en route to clinching Georgetown’s first BIG EAST Tournament Championship in program history. Allen was unanimously elected First Team All-BIG EAST and named two-time BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, two-time BIG EAST Honor Roll, and two-time CollegeSoccerNews Team of the Week.

Allen played for the New York Red Bulls Academy during the 2010-11 season and scored 28 goals in 24 appearances, the most goals scored by any player in the Academy that year.
