From New Jersey Turnpike/Garden State Parkway /Interstate Route 280/N.J. Route 21/Holland Tunnel//Lincoln Tunnel or via Public Transit

From New Jersey Turnpike (North or South)

Take exit 15W to Route 280 – West. After drawbridge, take Exit 14 (Broad Street/King Blvd.). At bottom of the exit ramp, turn left and continue to stop sign. At stop sign turn left onto King Blvd. Continue five blocks to Warren Street and make a left to athletic facilities.

From Garden State Parkway (North or South)

Take exit 145 to Route 280 East, Newark-Harrison. Once on Route 280, stay in the right lane, following signs for Harrison. Continue to Exit 14, King Blvd. Take this exit and make a right onto King Blvd. Continue five blocks to Warren Street and make a left to athletic facilities.

From Interstate Route 280 Route 280 West

After drawbridge, take Exit 14B (Broad Street/King Blvd.). At bottom of the exit ramp, turn left and continue to stop sign. At stop sign turn left onto King Blvd. Continue five blocks to Warren Street and make a left to athletic facilities.

Route 280 East

Proceed on route 280 West to Exit 14, King Blvd. Take this exit and make a right onto King Blvd. Continue five blocks to Warren Street and make a left to athletic facilities.

From N.J. Route 21

Route 21 North

Route 21 becomes McCarter Highway in Newark. At junction of McCarter Highway and Raymond Blvd., (you will see the Don Pepe restaurant ahead on your right.) turn left onto Raymond Boulevard. Continue on Raymond Boulevard to the Washington Street intersection. Turn right on Washington Street, and immediately move to the left lane. Make left onto Warren Street to Athletic Facilities.

Route 21 South

Make right turn on Clay Street and continue to 1st traffic light. Turn left and stay in right lane to next light. Bear right where road splits and you will be on University Avenue. Continue to Warren Street and athletic facilities.

From the Holland Tunnel

Take Routes 1 & 9 South (Pulaski Skyway) for 5 miles to the "Newark and the Oranges" exit. This exit will put you on Raymond Boulevard. Continue on Raymond Boulevard past Penn Station - Newark (on your left) for approximately 2 miles to the intersection of Raymond Boulevard and Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and immediately move to the left lane. Make the 1st left onto Warren Street and continue to the 1st light and turn left onto University Avenue. Immediately move into the right lane. Make left on to Warren Street to Athletic Facilities

From the Lincoln Tunnel

Take exit 15W to Route 280 – West. After drawbridge, take Exit 14B (Broad Street/King Blvd.). At bottom of the exit ramp, turn left and continue to stop sign. At stop sign turn left onto King Blvd. Continue five blocks to Warren Street and make a left to athletic facilities.

Rail

From Harrison, Jersey City, Hoboken, NYC:

PATH to Penn Station, Newark ; AMTRAK (1-800-872-7245; www.amtrak.com) and New Jersey Transit (1-800-772-2222; www.nj.com/njtransit) trains also stop at Penn Station-Newark. Please call the appropriate toll-free number for scheduling and fare
information.

From Penn Station-Newark to campus:

You may take a $4 taxi ride to campus OR Take the City Subway (entrance is by McDonald's) to Washington Street (2nd stop) for 45 cents.

Buses

Greyhound (1-800-231-2222) provides service to Penn Station-Newark. New Jersey Transit Bus Routes serve Union, Essex, Morris, Passaic, Bergen and Hudson Counties, as well as NYC, to Newark.

Newark Subway

From Penn-Station Newark take the City Subway (entrance is by McDonald's) to Washington Street (2nd stop). Fare is 45 cents.
